What website is this?
Xingge (星格) is a Zi Wei Dou Shu website and app. From a birth date, time, and place, code places stars in twelve palaces by the Zi Wei Dou Shu Quan Shu and states plain-language tendencies for temperament, work, and the decade. AI rewrites only a checked reading library and does not move stars. Classical lines stay apart from today’s reading. It uses the birthplace, drops daylight saving, and can add true solar time. It does not predict death, diagnose illness, or give investment advice.
Key Features
- Draw twelve palaces from birth time, sex, and birthplace. No sign-in.
- Read each palace and main star, keeping the classical sense apart from today’s reading.
- After sign-in, use Ask three free times a week on your own chart.
- Take 51 lessons in nine chapters, about three minutes each, on palaces, the Four Transformations, and luck periods.
- Also open compatibility, a daily reading, almanac date-picking, the I Ching, or a birth-hour estimate.
Use Cases
- A newcomer who cannot read classical Chinese draws a free chart and checks the Life Palace star and short notes.
- Someone comparing this year with this decade stacks decade and annual luck on the natal palaces.
- Someone unsure of the hour uses a two-hour window or the birth-hour tool.
- Someone asking about a relationship or leaving a job signs in and uses Ask on that chart only.
- A learner draws a chart, then follows lessons on the Life Palace, Four Transformations, and Quan Shu lines.
Who is it for?
- Learners in Chinese, English, or Japanese who want plain language before the classical text.
- Readers who want tendencies for temperament, work, relationships, and timing, not a verdict.
- People born abroad who need local time with daylight saving removed.
- A poor fit for medicine, investing, or life and death.
How It Compares to Similar Tools?
When charts disagree, check the published rules. Xingge follows the Quan Shu and lists exceptions: late Zi hour as the next day, a leap-month split on day 15, and the Quan Shu verse as the default transformations table. Decade luck starts in the Life Palace, not the next palace as in the Quan Shu. Fifteen personas (星格人物) cover the 14 main stars and the Empty Palace. The Emperor, the English label for Zi Wei, is only a memory aid. The five books are one-time, alone or with 20 Ask points, and there is no subscription.

FAQs
Q: Is a Xingge chart free without an account?
A: Yes. Readings are free with no sign-in. An account saves the chart and adds three free Ask questions a week.
Q: Can AI change the chart?
A: No. Code follows the Quan Shu. AI writes only from a checked library.
Q: Why does another site’s chart differ?
A: Late Zi hour, leap months, decade-luck start, the transformations table, or true solar time. Xingge publishes its rules.
Q: Can it cover health, investing, or life and death?
A: No. It will not predict death, diagnose illness, or advise on investments.
Why We Recommend?
Free charts and plain palace notes are together, for use before reading the Quan Shu straight through. Chinese, English, and Japanese include foreign birthplaces and daylight saving. It is not a face-to-face reading; books and extra questions are paid once, and it will not answer medical or investment questions.
