Riverside

Riverside is an online studio for recording and editing podcast and video conversations. The homepage describes recording, text-based editing, hosting, and turning a recording into further content. The pricing page lists Free at $0 per month, including a one-off 2 hours of separate audio and video tracks, up to 720p, a watermark, and 44.1 kHz audio. Pro is shown at $29 per month, or $24 per month when billed annually at $288 per year, and includes a free trial button. Higher tiers named Grow, Webinar, and Business are also on that page. Because recording and editing can start on the free plan, this is freemium. The product reviewed here is used in the browser. It fits content creators who record conversations and cut them into posts. It is separate from a pure generative video model: the pages emphasize capture and edit of real recordings.
